Information to Volunteer with AEF

Avon Education Foundation is an all-volunteer organization. AEF welcomes the residents of Avon that have the desire to help.

All are welcomed.

The long list of  Grants Awarded since 2004 indicate just how volunteers can and have made an impact. Please consider offering your talent and time to AEF.

Volunteers are needed in the following areas.

  • Community events and outreach.
  • Mail list development and maintenance.
  • Communications through social media.
  • Fund-raising.
  • Bookkeeping and Donor records.
  • Website maintenance.
  • Board of Directors – committee membership.
  • Coordinators to Grant Recipients.
  • Board membership.

Avon High School students have the opportunity to apply the engineering design process as they use a CNC router, thickness planer, router bit set, and wood chisel purchased through an AEF grant awarded to Technology Education Teacher, Matthew Dadona.
