You can make a general donation to the Avon Education Foundation in your name or make a tribute or memorial gift to honor someone special. A gift of $1,500 or more entitles you to name a grant that has been approved by the Board of Directors. You don't need to do anything; we will contact you at that time.

A wonderful way to recognize an exceptional teacher or special someone who has made a difference in the life of your student is to make a gift of C.H.E.E.R! Your C.H.E.E.R! honoree receives a specially designed certificate when you make a donation in his or her name. (No mention of the amount of your gift is made). Teachers, librarians, administrators, secretaries and other Avon Public Schools staff, coaches, room parents, volunteers and Avon town and public library employees may all be recognized with a gift of C.H.E.E.R!

Consider tribute gifts for special life events and accomplishments, or in memory of a treasured friend or family member. Use the occasion to share your passion for education in honor of the treasured person or special event.
